My passion for education began with a simple belief: education is the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life, not only in terms of financial opportunity, but also in developing the knowledge, character, and skills needed to thrive. Over more than 10 years working in education, the vast majority of which was in special education, I saw firsthand the challenges families and schools face, as well as the transformative impact of meaningful support and collaboration. That experience has given me a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students and the importance of ensuring that every child receives the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

A high-quality education empowers individuals to become well-rounded, independent thinkers who can solve problems, make informed decisions, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Education is also essential to building a strong and thriving society. Every child deserves access to an excellent education and the support necessary to achieve their full potential.

North Star Education Partners was founded to address a gap I observed between schools, families, and the broader community. My vision is to strengthen those connections by providing guidance, advocacy, and support where they are needed most.
